Facilities
At BU, our main cluster is atlas-login.bu.edu running CentOS-4, PBS, OSG 1.0.0 and Bestman. Our gatekeeper is atlas.bu.edu. We currently have 696 cores of worker nodes (2.0 million specInt2K), 68T NFS mounted RAID storage, 504T in GPFS and a 16 core 64GRAM atlas-login machine. Our WAN is a 10Gbps dedicated fiber directly to the NoX and internet2.
The Harvard component of NET2 consists of shared access to the Harvard FAS Odyssey cluster, a 6500 core Intel 2.33 Ghz Harpertown x86 RHEL5 cluster (21 million specInt2K) with Lustre shared file system, LSF scheduler and two dedicated 10Gbps fibers directly to the NoX.
